This crane came to Korea as a vagrant last winter. But it hurt its wings and stayed there. Fortunately, the wings have been completely cured, and are now flying.

The hooded crane breeds in south-central and south-eastern Siberia. Over 80% of its population winters at Izumi, southern Japan, and there are also wintering Suncheon Bay in South Korea.
