Chestnut-bellied Rock-thrush

Male is dark blue above and orange below, with a dark face.

Female looks completely different.

Usually seen in pairs, perched quietly on a rock or exposed branch at canopy level.

 

It is found in the northern regions of the Indian subcontinent, eastwards towards parts of Southeast Asia.

Its range includes India, Tibet, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
