Chestnut-headed Tesia

It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam.

It's about 8 - 8.5 cm in size.

 

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

 

It breeds in montane and hill forests, where it prefers densely vegetated wet or damp areas, often in the vicinity of streams and gullies. Winters in scrubby forest and forest edge growth in lower foothills.
