While filming the Hill Pigeons at Yeoncheon, I met a Lucism Oriental Turtle Dove.
Lucism refers to a disease in which the skin, fur, feathers, scales, and cuticle layers, excluding the eyes of animals, appear white, bright, or mottled due to partial pigment loss. Unlike albinism, melanin as well as a number of pigmentation deficiencies are the cause.
These are normal Oriental Turtle Doves.
