티스토리 뷰
I took a taxi when I heard that I could see many birds in Mount Kinabalu. However, it was impossible to search for birds because of the dense forest.
I only came back after seeing a few species due to lack of preparation in advance.
Black-capped White-eye inhabits mountain forests and alpine meadows in altitudes between 700 and 3000 m on mountains of Sumatra, and Borneo (especially Mount Kinabalu, Gunung Mulu, and Mount Batu Patap).
The bird is widely distributed across the Palearctic region with several well marked populations. The nominate form is from western Europe including the British Isles, Scandinavia and Mediterranean region. They winter in Africa and Asia. Race robusta breeds along the northeastern parts of Asia in Siberia extending to Korea and Japan. These winter in Southeast Asia.
