티스토리 뷰
흰목물떼새는 전국의 하천변과 연안 갯벌에 사는 희귀한 텃새다.
자갈밭이나 모래밭에 오목한 둥지를 짓고 3~4개의 알을 낳아 새끼를 기르고,. 하천변을 걸으며 수서곤충과
수서무척추동물을 잡아먹는다.
그러나 하천 정비와 갯벌 매립 등으로 서식지가 훼손되면서 개체 수가 감소하고 있으며, 세계자연보호연맹 (ICUN)
적색목록 관심대상이다.
