비오리 구애의 주요 특징은 수컷이 암컷 앞에서 독특한 춤과 몸짓을 선보이며 짝을 유혹하는 행위를 의미합니다.
암컷은 수면에 수평되게 몸체를 유지를하고, 수컷 비오리는 암컷 주위를 계속 돌면서 머리를 숙였다 치켜드는 동작, 가슴을 물에 잠그는 행동 등을 반복하며 구애를 펼칩니다.
