These are two males Bear's Pochard and a common Coot.

Baer's Pochard appears to have a monogamous mating system, at least within a breeding season.

 

 

During courtship, the male swims around the female, repeatedly nods his head up and down. When the male approaches, the female straightens her neck and lowers her head to the water. And then, they are mating.
