It is mainly distributed in southern regions such as Jeolla-do, Gyeongsang-do, and Jeju-do on the Korean Peninsula, and the population is large. It moves in late summer or autumn and is also observed in islands in Gyeonggi-do and east coast in Gangwon-do. The Asian comma is a middle-size butterfly found in Japan, Korean Peninsula, China, Taiwan, and Indochina.
