Black-capped White-eye (Breeding)

I filmed this guy when I came on November 1st last year, and now It's nesting 1.8m on the side of the road and breeding two chicks.

 

 

Since it is a dormant volcano, it has a typical volcanic region topography, and a caldera is formed at the top because the top of the mountain is actually hollow. As a volcano located in the midwifery of the Pacific Rim, there is a risk of a sudden eruption, and there was actually an earthquake nearby in 2015. At that time, some of the mountains were cut down.

As Malaysia's highest peak, the alpine climate appears, and the weather is cold above the mountain. However, there is no ice cap. If you are thinking of tracking, it is better to take winter clothes.
